Diabetic Taco Recipe: Tuesday Tacos
Delicious & Simple Diabetic Turkey Taco Bowl Recipe. This is perfect for Tuesday Tacos!! I eat the taco bowl and my family has corn tortillas for their turkey tacos!
Heat skillet on medium/ high heat with avocado oil.
Add ground turkey, start to brown.
Add granulated onion, garlic and chili powder, stir.
Once fully browned, 10-15 minutes. Add salsa & stir.
Serve over shredded lettuce, add other veggies: tomatoes, avocado, cucumber (whatever you have).
Top with hot sauce, salsa and greek yogurt!
Optional: lime wedge for flavor
Other optional add ins:
- Canned Beans ( I don’t eat a ton of beans because they require insulin)
- Other veggies you have ready to go (roasted veggies would be delicious)
- Hot or mild salsa or hot sauce
