Healthy Salad Dressing- Diabetic Quick Salad Dressing
At my house, this healthy salad dressing is probably the most used recipe I have!! It’s funny, diabetic quick salad dressing is my very first recipe, I ever added to the blog.
I make this dressing every day! I make it to marinade chicken right when I get home from the grocery store. Then the chicken is ready to grill by dinner or even in the next couple days. I eat chicken on salad at least three times a week. Then I serve the chicken to my kids with avocado and a vegetable and maybe a fruit too!!
I love making my own healthy salad dressing with healthy oil for a lot of reasons. The most important is that most salad dressings at the store are made with soybean oil, which is an inflammatory oil. It’s not good for our bodies and creates more work for our bodies. If you find a dressing with canola oil, which is a little better, it’s still an inflammatory oil. So I love making my dressing with avocado oil or olive oil. It makes me happy knowing I’m feeding my family and myself a healthy alternative.
Want a quick and easy Italian salad dressing that is diabetic friendly? Here it is:) This one is a staple in my house, it uses my staple ingredients: garlic powder, granulated onion and italian seasoning. Shake it up in a mason jar and voila!
This recipe is great for a marinade for chicken, fish or steak (kabobs are wonderful). Make this healthy diabetic salad dressing in a mason jar and keep in the refrigerator.
