Healthy Chicken Tenders – Diabetic Chicken Tenders
How delicious are chicken tenders from a restaurant and of course they are fried and use a bunch of carby breading:( Why not make your own healthy chicken tenders (hint: the perfect DIABETIC chicken tenders).
This healthy chicken tender recipe is made in the oven and they are easy and delicious!! My kids love the healthy chicken tender version and they are sure picky.

Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs chicken breasts sliced into 1/2 slices
- 2 cups corn flakes
- 1 egg
- 2 tbs water
- 1 tbs onion powder
- 1 tbs garlic powder
- 2 tbs italian seasoning

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Whisk Egg & water in dish to use as egg wash to dip the chicken slices.
- In a large bowl, add corn flakes and crush into smaller pieces.
- Spray baking sheet with cooking spray.
- Begin the process of making the tenders: dip chicken in egg wash, then cornflakes and place on baking sheet. Continue until all chicken slices are coated with the egg wash and corn flakes.
- Sprinkle seasonings (onion powder, garlic powder & italian seasoning) over chicken tenders.
- Bake for 13-15 minutes. Then flip the tenders and cook for another 5-7 minutes.
- Enjoy with your favorite low carb dipping sauce:)
