Healthy Thanksgiving – Garlic Parmesan Mushrooms
Why not add tons of veggies to your Thanksgiving table?? What an easy way to make your Thanksgiving menu a healthy thanksgiving menu:)
This recipe of course has cheese, but in my world, healthy is low-carb:)
I used this brand new oil sprayer for this recipe and it turned out perfectly!!

Ingredients
- 4 Tbs avocado oil
- 8 oz mushrooms halved
- 1 Tbs garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp red pepper chili flakes If you'd like them spicy, add more
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Roast on a sheet pan with parchment paper (shown in photo) or a large roasting pan or casserole dish work too.
- Add mushrooms to pan.
- Spray with avocado oil (i used the sprayer mentioned above). If you don't have a sprayer, just drizzle and mix it around with your hands to coat mushrooms.
- Sprinkle with garlic powder and chili flakes.
- Bake for 12 minutes.
- Take the mushrooms out of the oven, add the parmesan cheese and return to oven for 3 minutes or until cheese looks melted.
- Remove mushrooms from oven, mix around so cheese is melty and serve:)
