Ingredients
Optional (choose 1)
  • 1Tbs truviaI prefer the truvia because it has zero carbs:)
  • 1/4cup honeythis can be less (depends on how sweet you want them)
  • 1/4cup applesaucethis can substitute for the honey for less sugar
Instructions
  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Grease a small casserole dish (mine is 9″ x 7″). If you use a bigger dish, the nut bars will be thinner & need less baking time.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting (they are crumbly if not refrigerated).
Recipe Notes

I have used other nut butters too:) I’ve used all almond butter or all cashew butter, they have all turned out delicious!

You can add dark chocolate chips for a treat and nuts too!

You can also double the recipe for these diabetes breakfast bars, my kids think they are delicious!
